Grimm’s stepped rainbow counting blocks

Grimm’s Spiel Und Holz Design Small Stepped Wooden Blocks. This is a lovely older set of Grimm’s Wooden Toys rainbow blocks that does show some signs of wear/age, and as you can see from the photos, one of the smallest blocks is missing, but the tray is sturdy still and the blocks overall are in gently used condition. My thought was to buy a square dowel from a craft store and cut it to size to replace the missing piece.
